I’ve dreamed about this little corner of the internet for quite some time- a place where I can share the things that inspire me, what I’m growing in the garden, beautiful outdoor spaces, seasonal recipes, creative projects, and the simple moments that remind us to slow down and reconnect. Like many good things, 81 Poppies began with a seed. What started as a small backyard garden quickly became something much bigger. In the midst of busy schedules, endless to-do lists, and the constant pace of everyday life, I found myself drawn outside. I discovered that gardening wasn’t just about growing flowers and vegetables- it was about creating space to breathe, create, gather, and connect. The garden became a reminder that beautiful things take time. Over the years, that idea has grown into what 81 Poppies is today: a place where gardening, outdoor living, creativity, and community come together.
